Experience the magic of the Caxixi Fair, considered the largest open-air handicraft fair in Latin America and the oldest in Brazil. Held during Holy Week in Nazaré das Farinhas, the fair celebrates nearly three centuries of tradition, bringing together the rich ceramic production of Maragogipinho, one of the largest handmade ceramics centers in Latin America.
In addition to appreciating and purchasing unique pieces of ceramics, basketry, sculptures and regional handicrafts, visitors immerse themselves in the culture of the Recôncavo Baiano through typical gastronomy, artistic performances and encounters with masters of popular culture.
The experience goes beyond visiting the fair: it is an immersion in history, ancestral knowledge and creativity, elements that make this cultural heritage one of the greatest symbols of Bahian identity.
